The Scalpel is very dull and not sharp enough to utilize in a dissection. I returned it as soon as I saw how dull the edge is.

We got these for our homeschool. They are perfect set for any dissection. We used them for a frog dissection. The instruments fit nicely in the provided case and are very easy to clean. It's a good quality set.

I bought it for a bio lab. I did not needed anythig expensive or professional. Gives me what I need for this semester, so I didnt planed to spend a lot of money on a dissection kit. Good case, instruments are sharp, gives me what I need. Definetly best option for short time use.

Good basic kit. Scalpel is not very sharp.
