This 20" x 24" Red and White Diver Down Flag is a must when going on any diving expedition. Place this flag on a pole or float to warn other boaters and watercraft there is a diver in the water. Boats and other watercraft must go slow and stay away when the flag is on display. Regulation sized dive flags are required by law in many states and recommended everywhere when spearfishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, lobster snaring, free diving, or anything else that involves a diver is in the water. This Flag is easily attachable to a pole with zip ties (2 Included) or carabiner clips to display from your boat, kayak, jet ski or float. The bright and vibrant colors in this flag will make it impossible miss.The included stiffener breaks down into 3 small sections to make your flag travel sized and vacation friendly. Laws about dive flags vary by state. Check your local laws for more information. This is the legal size and specification for Florida. The stiffening pole is required at all times in Florida but only recommended to use else where when the conditions are calm. When there is a breeze the pole is not needed as the flag will fly on its own. Perfect for all conditions and situations!

I called Florida to see what their flag rules were. This was the right flag. It’s a nicely built flag. It has Velcro to keep the stiffener in place. It’s a heavy well made flag and even came with zip ties to mount it with. I’m happy.

The quality of the fabric is OK. The removable stiffener feature is useless. The velcro kept coming undone and eventually we lost the stiffener, in some water we didn't want to dive in. Buy the style with the stainless wire stiffener if you don't need to pack this flag back up every use.

This is a product that you must have if you up for water activities like snorkeling, spearfishing, free diving or scuba diving, excellent product, very fast delivery, a folding pole is included which is very convenient for carrying and storage, dry really fast and can be attach to boats or kayaks very easy. Highly recommended

Overall I would have given this 5-stars. The flag is good quality and should last a long time. The eyelets are reinforced and should hold up well.My ONLY complaint was the stiffener. The stiffener is held in place with a small velcro flap. I was worried about it when I installed it but hoped for the best. The stiffener came out within the first hour of lobster diving and was never seen again. The flag was basically useless after that. The law requires a stiffener in the flag where we were diving. Fortunately we weren't stopped. This is a pretty cheap method of keeping the stiffener installed. I wish it had been more durable as I like the flag itself.
