Dive Rite 2 inch Crotch Strap is preferred by divers who use scooters (DPVs) for extended periods of time due to the added comfort the 2-inch width provides. Used for fastening a harness and backplate securely to a diver's body, the 2-inch crotch strap is used to reduce the likelihood of gear slipping upwards on the body in the water, resulting in the tank hitting the back of the head during a dive. Continuous piece of nylon webbing provides strength, yet is soft and won't dig into the body. Includes a neoprene sleeve to protect exposure suit from abrasion.

Strap...that is.This is a huge improvement over my last strap. The ring is setup nice and it's more comfortable also. Great purchase overall.

Easy to install and exactly what I was looking for after losing my rig's original strap during a dive in Indonesia due to a poor installation from the dive shop.Can't wait for my next dive with everything staying in place!

I ordered this for my harness and have over 70 dives with it and it has worked well. I adjusted the strap, cut off any excess, and melted the area to keep from fraying. The neoprene pad on the strap is still as good as the day I installed it. The extra rings are nice if you need extra attachment points. I'd buy again.

Had everything needed to install a crotch strap on my back plate. The price was better than the competition and it also had a neoprene sleeve you can remove if you don't want it. It's made from your standard 2 inch SCUBA webbing. It comes with stainless steel hardware.
