Playing Forza, or any other racing game with his wheel and pedals, my 8yo is joyful driving around in this thing. Seems durable, easy to setup and move, wonderfully realistic.

I was pleasantly surprised upon unboxing this product. It was well packaged with foam at many pinch points and bubble wrap surrounding it. A few minor scrapes on one of the leg's paint finish, but negligible.Build quality and fitment:Reasonably good. The gauge of steel used here is reasonably strong/thick on the mounting points for the wheel, and the tubing is relatively heavy. About 22mm or 7/8" diameter, all painted black, do not think this is powder coating, but not 100% sure. The comfort of the chair isn't fantastic, but I also have not dialed in the ergonomics yet. My big issue is the width of the cockpit 'arms' elevating the wheel mount. I am a bigger guy, and my legs rub against the bars here. Not to the point where it's like 'tight' but it does touch. I'm not skinny by any means, but not unusually large for a cheeseburger eating american male.I think the best part about this chair is what you get forthe price:* Adjustible seat height* Adjustible seatback angle* Adjustible wheel distance* Adjustible pedal plate, both height/angle and distance.* Added stability peg* Shifter mounting point* Folded position will stand up-right without being leaned against anything* Wheel mount pivots and is quite rigid relative to the bar* Pedal plate included with mounting points for most major makes/modelsNot so great:* width of the cockpit* overall comfort* Flexibility of the wheel mount bars relative to the chair* fabric is a bit cheap looking* subjective, but the red stitching is kinda overdone* Does not include the arm wrest straps included on the Playseat challenge, which would be nice.Overall, this is a great value for a seat, I paid onsale a little less than 150 bucks, and at that price, would rate this product at 4 stars. Is there better options from other manufacturers? Yes, of course, but at twice the price or more, and relative to the playseat offering, I can't say it's worth the extra money when you arguably get a lot more with this product than with theirs. NLR products however, maybe a better option for some with a better lookking seat, greater adjustiblity, etc. But the real benefit of this chair or the playseat in my book is how easy it is to fold up. It fits right in my coat closet nad out of site which is a HUGE plus.Update: after a bit of driving, can say that there are 2 main issues with the seat.1. The wheel arms have way too much play, and when pressing or rally pulling down on the wheel for a turn, the steering column pushes downward an inch or so. It is not so bad that it’s not usable, but is significantly problematic. A fix for this while retaining the ability to open the cockpit is challenging.2. Under heavy breaking the seat can lift up. I can’t think of a solution to this but perhaps making the pedal plate more connected to the seat.
