It came nicely packaged with gloves and a lint rag. However when putting together, one section just would not fit together without a lot of fooling around with it. It started to splinter the plexiglass at that point. Once I got it together I found the LED lighting wasn't working right. After pressing several times I could get the blue LED light to come on, but no other colors. When I pushed the button to change colors it would just turn the light off completely. I would have to push the button 4 or 5 times to get the blue light back on. For this amount of money I expected better quality.***Update*** The company sent me another one free of charge after reading about my problems. I just received it and it works perfectly. Kudos to them for the customer service.

The light is nice but the box is another thing. First, it needs assembly. Second, the box has no screws or glue and fell apart multiple times. The only thing keeping the box together are the small groves not deep enough to keep the top and bottom in place.

Don't buy this - it will break on you trying to assemble it. The way its designed it is a struggle trying to put together, and the tolerances on the tabs are not appropriate. If you use more than a feather worth of force trying to snap together, the cheap plastic will snap. Threw it away, don't buy.

As you can see, Paul Wesley autographed my bottle of whiskey on the glass part (In all fairness Ian Somerhalder's autograph didn't leave him too much room) was worried that over time the autograph would fade and the bottle would get dusty so I got this display box. For reference the bottle is 750 ml. Standard bottle of Bourbon and it fits just right.

This case is basically four side panels that connect with a top and a bottom to form a case meant to hold liquor. I use it for displaying an Ahsoka Tano doll. Works great. The only real compliant I have is that the cord to power the led need to come out of the top in order to achieve the top down lighting effect. I assume that even though the products advertising image shows the light in that configuration it would be better to put the lights on the bottom when displaying liquor.

The quality of this isn’t what you’d expect at this price point. The acrylic plastic was very nice (and had plastic liner to prevent scratches, something I always appreciate), but the top and the bottom section just don’t look great.The top with the light especially looks pretty cheaply finished and affects the look of the whole thing. The cord is also quite short and I wonder if it wouldn’t have been smarter to make it battery operated somehow so you could hide the cord which really stands out. If you have some way to hide it, it’s much better, but when it’s so short it does make it harder. There’s also no remote so you’ll need access to the buttons on the cord.As well as wine bottles it works for figurines or models of the same rough size and shape. Be aware, you must assemble it, which is doable, but a little tricky. I can see someone accidentally snapping the plastic, so if you haven’t assembled such a thing before, make sure you’re not forcing it.

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $56.80 with no discount/coupon currently being offered by the seller at this time. Pricing is a little high in my personal opinion, however this is an acrylic light piece and so I can understand if it’s a little pricey. However, less is more with pricing and I would’ve appreciated seeing it closer to within the $30’s range (ideally.)Unfortunately you need to assemble this unit. I was hoping it would have been ready made and preassembled - shipped with styrofoam. But nah. The product photos can be a little misleading as well as it’s not identically the same look they’re trying to portray with the product.I just barely managed to get one of my drink bottles inside. Be sure to measure it out.Lights work fine, it’s reasonably well lit with a controller unit built into the wiring.
