Nitrile (Buna-N) seals are standard, providing a temperature range of -40 to +250 degrees F (-40 to +121 degrees C). 1/4-inches coupling and 1/4-inches NPTF male. 11/16-inches hex size. 0.98-inches maximum OD. 2.34-inches length.

All air fittings should be made this way, easy on - easy off. Only takes one hand to connect or disconnect the fitting from the air line. No more monkeying around trying to figure out how the fitting works. Will only be using these from now on in my shop/garage.

These are a bit different from the standard foster connectors many are used to. They still accept standard industrial fittings and pass the same volume of air but the retention system is much better.The female connector pulls toward the male end to disconnect, this enables you to keep your hand on the connector when it disconnects so it doesn't go flying off.You can also very easily connect and disconnect these connectors with one hand, the only caveat being the female end needs to be able to hold still while you attach to it, so it works best with manifolds.Overall these are very secure and easy to use connectors, if you don't already have a setup using the traditional push collars I would not hesitate to go with this option.
