Made out of extruded polystyrene (styrofoam), a very light material that makes it easy to work with and maintain. One unpainted panel weights just a half of ounce! Size of each panel: 39.3 in x 6.5 in x 0.17 in (1 panel covers 1.77 sq. ft).

If you have an ugly ceiling, these work perfectly. Very expensive in my opinion since its just made of flimsy styrofoam

These are very easy to install. Cut nicely with a utility knife and are super light weight. They do however damage easily if you're not careful. I plan to buy more for another room.

We finally decided to upgrade our kitchen. The house is 50 years old and has those awful textured ceilings. I was really concerned about how we were going to have to scrape that stuff off and repaint and all the trouble and time it would take when I came across these. I was very skeptical but since it’s a hundred bucks to do our entire tiny kitchen I figured it was worth trying. When the box arrived I thought I had been completely ripped off. It felt like it was empty! Then one day I came home and my husband had started on it and HOLLY CRAP!!! I was stunned!!!! It’s amazing!!! He said it was super easy to work with and install. Now I want to do our whole house!!! I know this sounds crazy, but it’s my favorite part of our new kitchen!!! I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT!!!

I took a chance on this, as there are no other reviews. I’m glad I did. I have popcorn ceiling that has 3% asbestos. With it coming down a bit, I pulled off the loose portions & covered with this product. I recommend using a rotary cutter, self healing mat & straight edge for clean cuts. I heavily buttered the back with Heavy Duty Loctite glue. This is super lightweight, think old school styrofoam paper plates. The look actually resembles wood grain. The low weight made installation so much easier on my shoulders. Will use in more rooms in my home soon!
