Works great on my giant trance. Been using it for a year now. I stand and pump on the cranks. I'm 280lbs, the oval gear has never given me any trouble. Works great.

Just installed on my new bike. Installation was quick and easy and it works perfectly. I can't see any reason to spend $80+ on the brand-name versions. This feels solid and well-machined.For those wondering if you should switch to oval chain rings on a single ring setup, the answer is emphatically YES! You can't believe how much this smooths climbs out and helps to keep your back wheel from spinning out. These should come stock on bikes IMO. Why? Because your leg doesn't have the same power consistently through the pedal stroke. The oval makes it easier when you're weaker and harder when you're strong. It's like shifting a gear without shifting. You can't tell it's on, it feels very natural. Get one now, thank me later lol.

So far so good. Great value for money, fits perfectly with my SRAM cranks. Not a fan of the appearance with logo design on the front, but I can live with that for the price. Runs smooth and does not seem to drop the chain so far.

I'm always skeptical of mix matching non OEM drive train parts when it comes to the drive trains on my mountain bike builds. I've been using the SRAM GPX oval chainrings since they hopped on the bandwagon. I wanted to get another one, but not for $120. Aftermarket ovals are also expensive, especially if you're wanting to try oval for the first time and not sure if it's for you.I found these DJC chain rings and for $30 and it was a risk I was willing to take without hesitation. All I can say is WOW!!! I'm actually impressed with how well these work compared to the OE SRAM GXP. Not one hiccup while shifting, no chain drop and the timing/clocking of the cam rollover is what I consider to be perfect! I've been riding MTB for 30+ years, raced many super-d, DH and enduro platforms. I work on and build all my own bikes. If you're on the fence about getting this chain ring, get off it, because you're going to be stoked on this affordable chain ring. It's light, rigid and well designed.

I was skeptical that this would be a high quality oval chain ring that competes with the ones twice its price, but it definitely does. Highly recommended if you're sick of paying $80+ for other brands.

The chainring installed flawlessly. The oval feels like you are in one gear lower for the level of effort. No other effects are noticeable on pedalling except a very subtle smoothing of pedal stroke on tech climbs. Best upgrade in a long time.

I think oval rings, allow me a little extra power when climbing. I have bought the $80 versions in the past, but thought I would try this one. Just as smooth, just as quiet, and less expensive. It appears to be well machined, but I cannot speak to longevity yet. At this price, you can afford to get a couple in different sizes, and experiment with them.
