Machined too small. Need to press on the hub and it's not a nice press. It's so tight you'll damage something. I bought 2 of these and they are both the same. I highly advise to buy the DT Swiss or Shimano branded conversion kit.

I think this is a nice adapter to open brake disc options. I think the center locking brake options are limited in comparison to the 6 bolt options. The adapter is light (weight), the color is bright, and has an aluminum washer. If there are rotors that you want on your bike that are not made in center lock, this is a good option.

I like that I can use any 6 bolt rotor and not stuck with Shimano. This adapter installs easily and lock ring will need lock tight. Perfect for any wheel with Shimano center lock hub.

The rotor sits on the chrome screw heads, like a full float rotor. The nut tightens down on the 6 tips of the rotor that go around those screw heads essentially locking the rotor down to this adapter. Seems like this should work at least for most normal riders. If your an extreme rider I don't think this would be for you, I think it would be a little weak and it's just too complicated.

Quality seems solid on this adapter and feels like something I'd buy in a retail store. I mainly have this as a backup adapter in case an existing rotor wears our or gets damaged and I expect it will work just fine.
