I recently got my hands on this gimbal during an incredible sale, and it has truly transformed my travel video experience. Its sleek and slim design makes it highly portable, fitting seamlessly into my bag without any hassle. The standout feature for me is the impressive battery life, lasting a full day of recording with breaks, roughly around 3 hours of continuous use. This means I can capture a wide range of moments without worrying about running out of power.What sets this gimbal apart is its exceptional grip. The handle is sturdy and comfortable, ensuring a secure hold even during quick and dynamic movements. Its lightweight construction adds to the convenience, allowing me to use it for extended periods without feeling fatigued. I appreciate the ease with which I can control the gimbal, moving it swiftly and effortlessly to capture the perfect shots.The real game-changer, however, is the DJI app. Unlike other devices I've used, the app is intuitive and user-friendly. DJI has clearly invested in its development, making the gimbal incredibly easy to operate. This contrasts sharply with other gimbals I've tried, where connectivity issues and poor functionality hindered the experience.The only minor drawback is the case it comes in, which tends to collect dirt when stored in a bag. However, a quick wash restores it to its pristine condition. I do wish the case had better cushioning to offer additional protection, especially in the event of accidental drops.In summary, this gimbal has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, portability, and user-friendliness. Its long battery life, excellent grip, and lightweight design make it a fantastic choice for travel enthusiasts and content creators alike. This gimble does not have the range of motion I expected. When I bought this, I did not know there was a newer model. The battery life is much less than expected. I do not like the bracket that is required to be attached to the phone to make it work. It is just one more small piece you can lose very easily. The charging port does not reverse power to another piece of equipment. So if your phone is low on power, you can’t connect the gimble to the phone to charge it with a cable. You will have to carry a power pack on you to charge your phone, just adding to more things weighing you down. The DJI software required to run this with your phone is pretty much useless for training. It only works well with iPhones , no other makers of phones will work adequately. The application “says” it has training videos to watch so that you can learn operation of the gimble and the software used to operate it, yet, none of the videos play more than about two seconds. If you want to learn anything about this gimble, you must search videos on YouTube. And even then, you’ll find multiple videos filmed by creators that specifically say not to buy this gimble because of many things other than what is listed here. Buy the OM6 or even look at gimbles made by other companies. I would not recommend this to anyone other than people who create selfie videos for tik tok. That is what it is designed for.
