This is the top piece of the Cuisinart that pops in place. In order for the machine to work I have to hold that piece in place so it doesn’t pop back out.

Image does not clearly show the product from all sides. The engagement tab for the control switch is not shown, which is the piece that differs from one pusher to another.This part does not fit a model DLC-7P due to an incompatible engagement tab for the control switch.

We have had ours for years and needed to replace this part. The part is a great fit and reasonable for the quality. We use it almost daily and it holds up great!

The plastic on the safety clips is so flimsy that it wouldn't stay locked in place. adding a small amount of carrot caused it to pop out of place and turn the drive off. The slide locking mechanism also "stuck" often, disallowing the use of the pusher as intended. Not recommended.

Works with my old Cuisinart. The old connector piece broke off (the most delicate piece, only a thin plastic arm), so food processor would not run. This $20 piece does the trick. Looks exactly like the original, just not broken..
