Save yourself the money and go to walmart to buy the sheets for a bigger size, barely a dollar each. These are overly expensive for what you get, sized down and a drop in quality. Im very disappointed.

I use EVA foam regularly for crafts, cosplay projects, etc., so I'm always looking for affordable options, and I do actually think this is a good choice as long as you fully understand what you're ordering. On the plus side, these foam sheets were VERY good quality with a consistent color, size, and texture to each sheet, and it's always nice to find options that are "multi-pack" items vs. "single" items. On the negative side, these were by FAR the thinnest sheets of foam that I've ever encountered, and the actual dimensions of each sheet is only 5.5" x 8.25, which is about the size of 1/2 sheet of copy paper vs. the more common size of a full sheet of paper.Since you can very easily glue multiple sheets of foam together to build up thickness, the "thin sheet" angle isn't necessarily an issue and could actually potentially even be a benefit if you're trying to incorporate multiple layers into your project.Similarly, the overall dimensions could also be either a benefit or a drawback depending on what you intend to use them for:If you want to make anything with a larger overall design, you will absolutely have to piece things together and end up with visible seams, so I'd recommend choosing a different option for that. However, if you're buying these for smaller projects that rarely use the full "standard" sized sheets of craft foam, these are perfect. Also, if you're using these for "kids crafts," their size might actually even be a benefit to encourage the kids to plan better and create less "wasted" foam - LOL!P.S. I've added a couple of photos of a project that I'm currently working on that's making use of these, but keep in mind that it's still "in progress" and not necessarily a perfect example...

Worried great for project. Easy to cut with scissors but sturdy enough to work.

The first thing I noticed about these black foam sheets was the delicate texture and saturated color, which is good. The problem is that these sheets are only eight and a quarter inches long, not the eight and a half inches in the description. The sheets are flexible so that you can bend them for various uses. I use them as background for photographing small objects, and they work great for that. The price seems steep for what you get.
