I use this on the vibrate and sound option. NOT the shock. I only put it on overnight because my big boy takes protecting his yard seriously, it doesn't matter what's going on in the alley, he's barking at it. He has such a deep, loud bark that I had to do something before the neighbors complained. This worked from day 1! He knows when it goes on, it's no barking. He knows the the difference between me putting this one on and his walking collar on so it's not traumatized him. If you have a barker, get it.

This works really well for my barker! I like the adjustability of settings and choice of methods to correct barking behavior. Really gets my dog’s attention which is the point and I reinforce the collar with verbal commands, too, whenever it corrects her. The collar is very well made. Over time, whenever she sees the collar now she knows what’s coming if she continues barking so I rarely actually need to put it on her, having learned her lesson.

This is my second bark collar purchase from Amazon. I actually got two of these same collars for my two dogs. They are not obnoxious all day barkers but they do like to loudly alert us whenever come or friends arrive. We don’t use the shock setting, but the vibrate and beep is enough to quiet them down after the first bark. So far the battery goes three or four days on one charge so I am really happy with that. Hoping these last at least a year or two!

This collar was the perfect size for my 10-pound Maltese. The different setting options trained my dog quickly. I kept the collar on vibrate which was enough to train him appropriately. The charge lasts longer than expected, but charges more quickly than expected. I am very pleased with the durability of the collar. A good solid purchase that will exist long into the future.

The collar works if it picks up the barking. I have it on 5 sensitivity but it will only beep and vibrate about 30% of the time. I do not use the shock setting. Not sure what else to do or if it is defective and needs replacing. Suggestions welcome!

The noise and vibration are usually enough to settle our pups down when someone comes to the door or worst case a squirrel or rabbit passes by! Haha they fit well and our pups don't seem to mind them on. The battery lasts about a week.
