I babysit a dog that can be kind of overexcited, so this collar works well in keeping her in control, although sometimes I worry that I will choke her when she is intended on leaving me. But it is easy to slip on and use. It seems to run just a tad smaller than expected, but still was functional.

this chain is a little smaller than I expected but will still serve it's function fine. The overall length of 24 inches includes both end rings not just the chain itself and the individual links are about 3/4 the size of the similar chain I had purchased in a local pet store. these differences won't really matter in any real way but I'm hopefully the chrome on this one doesn't just wear off on my dog's coat making him look dirty all the time.

The chain is not the shiny stainless steel color of stainless steel bracelets.. It’s more of a bluish silver toned metal. It’s shiny, but not super shiny. The chain is not quite a flat chain. It’s 12” long. The outer diameter of the circles at the end is 1” and the inner diameter is 7/8”. If I thread the chain through a circle, the folded chain (not including the circles) is about 5” so it’s for a very small dog. It doesn’t smell metallic and it doesn’t make my hands smell metallic, either. It’s surprisingly light.I had intended to use it as a chocker necklace, but somewhere along the line I misread the numbers. It’s too small for my neck by about 3/4”. Whoops!Nice!

Effective and efficient dog collar for walking. I leave my simple nylon lead with a D-ring permanently attached with a loop/slip knot. When it is time to walk, open up the slip ring to full diameter and slip on. If you have a dog with sensitive ears or one that avoids putting on a prong choke collar, this might be the collar for you. It rides on the dog in the slightly open position and then when you need to pull your dog back makes this satisfying Brrrrrrriiiipppp sound before the choke engages. If you have a dog you are training to heel it is also quite effective. It does not solve pulling as well as a prong collar but it is much better than your everyday collar. I also like the thought if my super strong puller ever broke the leash or this collar that her home collar with her tags on would still be on her.

I got the medium size for an 8 week old golden retriever, and its a good fit. Though, It probably won't be long before he outgrows it, it's a simple starting collar to use.

Good fit, well made, looks to be chromed and polished, nice smooth links with no burrs or snags to pull fur or skin. The links slide smoothly both directions, end loops are sturdy and well made throughout. Holds up well to training use with a fairly determined dog, but gentle enough to not cause injury when used properly.
