I really liked the idea of this solution to prevent my dog from licking a front leg wound as an alternative to a collar, but the cuffs on the sleeves were no different than any long sleeve tee-shirt. At first, she just pushed them up to get at wound, but it wasn't long before she chewed the cuffs off both legs.

I got this recovery sleeve for my dog after she suffered an injury to her front leg, and I couldn’t be happier with this product. It has been a game-changer in helping her heal comfortably and safely. The fit of the sleeves is perfect, providing gentle compression without being too tight. My dog was initially uncomfortable with the idea of wearing something on her legs, but the soft, breathable fabric made it easy for her to get used to it. I've got a aussie on the rather large side, he like to fiddle with his front legs. When I took this from the package I was doubtful. It fits and works perfectly!

Originally ordered for a dog who needs to leave his elbows alone, I was unable to use this suit due to the chest fitting but the neck opening fitting way too tight.The Collie does not need to wear this Recovery Sleeve clothing, but I wanted to show the fit.One thing to note - there is an elastic band running thru the neck which I immediately cut off as I was worried it would cinch up if snagged on crate or furniture.The velcro is ultra lightweight.Holly Collie is 65lbs and wearing an XL. She had the sleeves up above her elbows simply rolling around on the carpet.

I like that it fit as well as can be expected. The Velcro helps. Our dog has a small neck and a larger chest. the legs are too long, but that is probably because of his larger chest. it is short enough that it doesn't get in the way of him urinating.

Recommend getting a larger size. Excessive shrinkage even in cold water and drying on low heat. Otherwise, the shirt was comfortable for my 65lb Greyhound.
