Great for dogs that are chewers! My dog ruined the cloth set I bought, but she can’t even come close with this one.

I love that my German shepherd puppy can’t bite through it but it’s so long that she can easily bounce all around the car.

With this leash, the dog finally stopped chewing it! It's a bit short for my dog’s size, but she finally lies down and enjoys the ride.

Works well, I like the coiled part for keeping it short when the dog turns so it doesn't get caught up underneath her. I have it hooked on a baby seat attachment on the back dash. And she is a chewer so it's great against that issue too.

I ordered this because we have two Dobermanns that ride in the back seat of my truck when we travel. I wanted something to keep them from flying around and getting hurt in an accident and to keep them from being able to climb into the front seats. These are very nice cables. Very strong cables and nice clips on each end. I like the pig tail on one end that acts like a spring and reduces the force of a good tug.The one thing I didn't care for is the length. They list it as being 27" long. I would have thought they were talking about the "rested" length. The actual relaxed length is around 21"-22" long and 30" when stretched out. This is just a bit short for a couple of big dogs riding on the floor. If it were small dogs and they were sitting on top of the seat, these would be great. They work great and they are a very good quality protected cable, just a little shorter that expected.

Dog Seat Belt for Car, Chew Proof Dog Leash 2 in 1 Steel Cable with Elastic Bungee Buffer Dog Seatbelt Harness Latch Bar Attachment Heavy Duty Seat Belt for Dogs in Car for Medium Large Dogs ChewerOne of my scariest moments as a dog owner was opening the car door and having my pup jump out and run into the road. He had been secured by his leash, but had chewed through it while I was driving. Since then, we were using a crate to secure him in the car. Lately, that has become very difficult since he started having trouble jumping high enough to get in and I can’t lift him. This chew proof steel cable leash is the perfect solution to the problem. It buckles right into the seat belt if he is riding in the middle and can also clip on securely if he is in the back storage area. I can hook his leash on when we reach our destination before unbuckling the safety cable so he can’t run away. It’s a much simpler method to keep him safe than the crate and can easily be transferred to any of our other vehicles. I recommend this product. It is a small investment for peace of mind.

This steel dog seat cable is good quality and works well. We switched over to only using coated steel cable tethers in our car as we had a dog easily chew through a typical fabric tether. It has an added feature of a section of the cable being coiled to act as a soft spring if the dog moves around in the car. Please see my photos.

Good product, sometimes jumps down and gets wound up. Could be a few inches shorter to prevent that.

We have a very spoiled 80-pound pooch that goes with us EVERYWHERE in the car. Even if we are taking a five-minute drive to the store, he has to tag along to wait in the parking lot (weather permitting) while we grab milk, eggs, and sugar. This seat belt restraint keeps him safe and sound while going on his little car rides. The length is a bit short, but it does the trick of allowing movement around the back seat. He gives it two paws up!
