Works great when everything is fresh, after the first hour the battery dies, number 2 battery dies after 1 hour, it takes 4 hours to charge one battery. Otherwise it’s fine

I have carpal tunnel problems and small hands, which makes it hard for me to use some larger power tools. This saw is just right for me! Its lightweight, compact and so easy for me to handle. I've only used it for cutting a metal mop handle down and cutting the wooden legs down on a plant stool, so I can't speak on how it works for anything heavier than that. Very pleased and definitely recommend!

Works perfectly for trimming bushes and trees. However the add states that it comes with 2, 4 amp hr batteries and if you zoom in on the picture it shows 3amp hrs batteries. Comes with 2. 2amp hr batteries.

I normally only buy top of line, name brand tools, but this seems like a pretty good deal. I have a nice corded one so it's not much of a risk for me to try this cordless reciprocating saw. Right out of the box I like what I see. Two fully charged batteries, a few metal and wood blades, a battery charger, The saw and some safety glasses and thin gloves. It works great. It does have a value type of item feel to it, but what would you expect. Would this be good for some that uses it everyday for work, definitely not. It does seem good however for those once in a while projects around the house, much better than dragging out the extension cord and being tethered to it. I can't speak on the longevity but for the price it's already exceeded my expectations.

This review is of the Dogtooth 21V Cordless Reciprocating Saw.The first time I used this Dogtooth reciprocating saw I almost crushed my thumb with the exposed chuck. There is an LED light on top of the grip where your thumb rests. There is almost no guard there to prevent your thumb from sliding forward past the grip and getting injured by the rapidly moving chuck, particularly if you are pushing the saw down and forward to cut through an object. I have a DeWalt, and a Ryobi reciprocating saw, and I've never had an issue like this previously.Other than the dangerous grip design, the saw functions adequately. It was powerful enough to rapidly cut through a particle board speaker enclosure. The included blades are cheap and were slightly bent, but no one uses a reciprocating saw for precise work. Having two batteries and a carrying case is a plus, though the lightweight charger feels insubstantial and takes a long time to charge a battery. For the current price of under sixty dollars, this is an economical way to get a cordless reciprocating saw. However, due to the dangerous design and risk of injuring a thumb, I can't recommend this device.
