The stand looks like plastic and is super small. If you purchase this stand be sure to buy one large enough for what you want to use it for. Also, there are no returns on this item.

What it says in the title.Looks just like the picture, very cute, but not very stable and wouldn't trust it to hold up a crystal sphere because it doesn't stand up securely

These are nice little holders for crystal spheres. My only complaint is that they bottoms are not even and are of kilter on my shelf.
