If you plan on painting I would suggest you get the plain wood ones. The white ones do not take paint well. At least 3 coats to cover it all. Otherwise it is a nice window.Note: Manufacturer gave me a discount on 1 window even though I had more than 1 order. They promised to amend their description to alert people that if they wanted to paint they should order the unpainted ones. I see they did not do this. The windows are great. I still stand by my original review. if you intend to make them a different color don't get the white ones. I do intend to order more... but unpainted ones this time.
