Direct replacement part- excellent functionality . I have to replace these every few years. We use our motorhome a lot. I keep a spare on hand all the time. You don't want to have to call a mobile RV service person to replace this, save the money and do it yourself. Easy to install, fit is perfect if you by the correct one.

Well if the spring holds up and lasts for a while I'd give it thumbs up if not and get the thumbs down but it was OEM and usually OEM works better than other things that are made to operate like but are not OEM when you can always buy OEM from the Creator of the product

The kit that was in before had a plastic rod in it and would bend so when you tried to put water in it wouldn't always push in the valve. This kit has a brass (I think) rod and is solid no issues with either water or flush. No leaks, easy install and has been working for months I would recommend.

Its probably because our toilet is in a tiny RV bathroom, too close to the wall, so it is very difficult to install this part. This is the second time we have had to replace it, so it was a little easier this time. Last time, it broke while trying to install so we had to get a 2nd. This time we bought two, but we got it right the first time. So, next time it breaks, in about a year and a half, we will have the replacement part handy.
