I ordered 2 units and upon receipt, both units had identical problems - the fan motor was not mounted properly so it was cocked to one side, the bottom back bracket to hold the fan motor in place was bent and loose, and the blower wheels were bent. In addition, the top cover for one of the units was cracked at one of the mounting screw locations. Either these units were manufactured incorrectly and not properly inspected / tested or, more likely, they were previously bought by someone else, damaged, returned, and re-shipped to me. Kart It is of no help in making a return, so I've had to get Amazon's help in getting a refund and shipping back to Kart It.I purchased replacements at my local Camping World and not only were the boxes in perfect condition, the units were also in perfect condition.Returns with Amazon have typically been easy, but this return has been prolonged and agonizing. I won't be making a major purchase like this through Amazon / Kart It again.

Brand new unit.1. Evaporator and box full of very fine sand.2. Fan locked up as it was mounted crooked due to bad install of isolation mount.3. Wire bracket broken4. Cover was a very poor fit.5. Fan wiring stretched tight.Sent Dometic an email detailing the complete lack of quality on a brand new unit.I fully expect an early failure.Would have loved to return it but freight and time prevented it so I fixed what I could as best I could. The sand was everywhere!
