If you try to install the face plate upside down there’s a little plastic indicator that will puncture the glass thermometer, not going to return because I can’t see it anyways it’s pretty small and I’m assuming there’s a note in the instruction manual that I didn’t read when installing. All in all it works! Two wire two screws install not bad

I replaced a Atwood/Hydroflame thermostat with this unit. First night it cycled ever 3 minutes and ran the heater for 30 seconds. Adjusting the anticipator didn't fix the issue. When camping off the grid, you can ill afford to run the heater 20 times per hour. I cleaned up the "off" switch on my old thermostat and reinstalled it. Maybe theres a delay setting for the bimetal switch, but the instructions weren't clear and I'm not going to bother addressing something that isn't a one for one replacement.
