I used this as a replacement throttle cable for my 1968 55HP Evinrude Outboard. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, it appears to be the exaxy same as the one that had broken on my boat. The sheathing is of good quality and should withstand abrasion excellent. The shipping was quick and the overall price was much cheaper than other replacements. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Perfect. Remember if ordering one for throttle and one for shifter there will be a 2ft (or more) difference In length to cross to the far side of motor. I accidently ordered two the same length, now I have a spare I guess.

Don't know why I waited so long to get this. Only problem I had was finding the hex set screw on the ends from the old to the new one. Works great!
