Narrower than expected, 3/4”. Maybe it was in the description or specifications and I just missed it. Had to shave down the body filler I use to make the fan quite a bit but works fine, fan sits in the holder nice and snug, and looks good. Finish is nice. Jo

You can hang your turkey fan tail, or do like I did and stand it up freely on a table.

A nice change compared to my other fan mounts. It’s nice to mix them up so they don’t all look the same. Solid steel. Turkey fan fits really snug. Place the dried fan into the mount and hung it up on wall and I was done.
