The remote fob is now able to trigger the lock now that I've installed this inexpensive part. So grateful to be able to get it! Note: it does take some doing to get in the door and get the pieces out you need to work on...so be ready to channel your patience.

Got my door all the way apart before finding that this actuator is not compatible with my 2003 Honda CR-V. It seems that there are two different styles for this year of CR-V. Does anyone know if there is any way to tell which you need without taking the door apart first?

Oh how the days of paying $100+ for oem replacements are happily gone.This part fit perfectly. Works super quiet. Can't believe I paid $11 bucks for it.The install was annoying as the 3 bolts holding the oem actuator were seized. Had to drill them out and use replacements bolts.Other than that, replacement was straight forward. No modifying needed, fit perfectly and worked like a charm. Let's see how long this last - but can't beat the value
