Component is direct fitment to my 2002 Toyota Tacoma. Purchased item has some new rod end clips. Complicated reassemble as no installation instructions were included.

These are difficult to install I don't recommend it some of the plastic clips made me need to be replaced take pictures before you remove the old one

I have now bought two of these and they simply are cheap and don’t work. First one got all the way installed everything was working then just stopped working. Pulled the door all apart again and the wiring on the plug had one of the pins backed out. No problem, pushed it back in only to see the little plastic piece was broken and it would never stay. So I found a way to hold the wire in with some heat shrink tubing. Put it all together worked for 2 days then completely stopped working. Returned it and got a replacement. Next one I got I tested throughly before installing seem good. It’s not hard to install just small space frustrating kind of work. Installed the second one. Seemed good. Turned on the key to acc to test locking seemed good then started to burn inside the door panel. Pulled all apart again before the door caught fire. Looks like the little motor burned up!!! Anyway maybe you will get lucky. I have not been. Worst part I don’t have the original and have to return this to get my money back but can’t take it out cause it is what keeps the door shut.

After searching my local AutoZone and O’Reillys and being quoted $335 for a new door actuator for my 2003 Tacoma (there smoking something) I decided to look at Amazon for a new one because mine had failed for $43 I took the risk. And let me tell you this thing works as it should and perfect fit so if you’re cheap like me, this is perfect for you.
