This HOJLKLD Door Viewer Peep Hole is worth more than it costs. It is well-made with good sturdy materials. It was a bit difficult for me to install, I'm not handy when it comes to this sort of thing. My only complaint is its clarity - still, good enough to determine if it is a girl scout or delivery man at my door.

Je cherchais un judas de porte qui soit assez large pour pouvoir recouvrir un trou qui avait été percé un peu trop grand , celui ci est parfait et très qualitatf en plus d'être bon marché.

Its blurry. Can’t reconize someone’s face, just someone standing that rang your door bell.Just got a message from the seller. Offered a Full refund.I am not able to reply via Amazon for some stupid reason (operator error probably) but due to other reviews, pretty sure I just got a bad one.Will reorder this one.

I purchased this mainly due to the onscreen color matching the existing door hardware well, that it did perfectly. The appearance, fit, and finish also looked very good. Unfortunately the main purpose of a peep hole was left wanting as the view through it is so blurry that you could not identify even a family member on the other side (YES, I was looking with proper orientation). My attempt to clean both the exterior and interior of the lens proved fruitless. It will be returned and I will purchase locally so as to be able to verify clarity, thus usability.

Well, money spent and waisted. There is no such thing as a standard sized peep hole. I bought two different ones thinking I would be able to use one of them. Neither item would fit my door hole; which was smaller than either of my purchases. It's time to stop shopping online for me. I have purchased too many items of the wrong size and not returned them, to fast to throw away the packaging. A lot of merchants are not as upfront as they need to be. All most care about is receiving money. So, I will stop participating in this circus.

Last Thursday night (Friday morning) at 12:30 some goofball knocked on my door. When I asked "Who is it" through the closed door, the goofball responded "Police, we're looking for apartment 4" which was odd because I'm apartment 3 and apartment 4 is literally 17 inches catercorner from mine. So I'm figuring IF this goofball really is a cop he's gotta be the stupidest cop in the city because he can't find an apartment one foot away to his right.Point is, my run-down, over-price apartment door's peephole was busted so I couldn't see this directionally impaired "cop" -- IF he even was a cop (I figured it was the ex-boyfriend of the woman who lives in #4 -- but who knows because my peephole was busted).Well, I got this new peephole, popped out the old peephole--just had to widen the hole a bit with a drill--screwed this new one in and WHOOOMP THERE IT IS I'm ready to see the next goofball who comes creeping up to my door at 12:30 in the morning claiming to be "the cops."Thank you, Amazon!
