I bought this right before shelter-in-place started and could not be more grateful for this purchase!I use it for everything from basic bodybuilding exercises (weighted or not), advanced callisthenics workouts (front/back levers), and much more. It does not budge, feels secure, and can even hold my weight after I hang the rings on it!

junk, absolute junk. I really wish Amazon would stop allowing such crap to be sold on their site. Get some pride in the products you allow to be sold Amazon! Cheap, cheap cheap. Bolts and nuts lost threading after a couple assemblages. Cheap aluminum and extra cheap steel. Use a few extra dollars to get a step up, to get something that will last. I'm tremendously much more satisfied with the Ikonfitness pull-up bar I bought to replace this trash.

Was pretty skeptical at first since the price was cheap with free shipping. Then got really spooked when I opened the package to see made in China on the original packaging. But then again everything's made in China.Other than that good product.Holds up pretty well at the doorway without it coming down and cruising you.

Great muscle builder. Easy to put together. I did it in five or ten minutes, by my self. You don't need any tools, they provide all of them with the screws. Easy to put up and remove from the door. Will NOT fall down on you, I already tried to make it and it wouldn't fall. Easy to store, not big or bulky. Great.

The pull-up bar doesn't fit onto a doorway that is built on a 2"x6" stud wall.

The pullup bar assembled pretty easily and installs on the door frame in seconds after the little retention clip is permanently installed. I knocked off a star for 2 reasons.First, the pullup bar is in 2 pieces and frankly it feels a little flimsy to me. I weigh about 200 lbs and although I tested the bar by hanging from it before letting my kids use it, I wouldn't want to use this thing every day doing pullups. I'd be afraid it would bend or break. For my kids it is fine, but I'm not going to use it because it just doesn't feel strong enough.Second, the listing on amazon doesn't make it clear that you have to pound in a thin sheet metal retention clip between the door trim and wall. The clip is thin and shouldn't cause any damage to the trim, but it will leave a 1-inch slot between the trim and wall that should be caulked or otherwise filled back in if the clip is removed.I don't hold it against the bar itself, but my son managed to bend the clip quite badly when he installed the bar incorrectly. He's lucky he wasn't injured when he and the bar came crashing down to the floor when the clip bent in half because he didn't put the bar into the clip correctly. I bent the clip back to its proper shape and it still works, but you really need to be careful when putting the bar up to make sure the support bar is actually secured between the clip and the wall, not just resting on top of the clip!

Of COURSE you need to measure your door and all that. Trust me, I did my research. This one fits and works really well. I'm not even that fit, but it's something to keep me active during the winter! The only trouble I had was putting it together using the picture provided, but as long as you double check what you're doing, anyone could sort it out. Or Google how to do it. Not that hard.No weird factory smells (it's padding and metal. come on)Secure fit around the doors of my house.YAY!

I ordered the bar alongside the straps. The purchase arrived at a reasonable time (four days after I ordered). My doorway is 32 inches wide.My trim was 3 inches.1.) The product could be assembled quickly with no issues at all (instruction manual is included alongside all of the necessary parts). The parts were all in good condition (no rust, weird smells, etc.)2.) The pull-up bar fit snugly on my door and I could perform the exercises with no issue. However, the bar placed a decent amount of stress on my frame and left marks. My personal solution was the use of socks. I taped socks along the parts of the bar that touched my doorframe. The socks would cushion the bar and prevent further marks from developing.I would personally recommend this product to those who are willing to purchase a cheap chin-up/pull-up bar that allows you to perform a decent amount of exercises.Tip: Be absolutely sure you measure the space above your door trim. You need a few inches of space above it.
