Yo la coloque y cuando la ajuste se abrió, se salto el chicote del lado que no trae el tornillo, tuve que reconstruir la original que tenia.. y esta ya l;a tuve que reconstruir, reforzarla y moldearla No me gusto, mala calidad y cara, porque a ese precio no debió suceder lo que me paso, La pieza se deforma

Seems pretty flimsy with thin metal. I put a small hose clamp around the other end to secure it cuz I'm sure it will pop out otherwise. I'm just doing this for inspection and I'm going to pass inspection.

This came with the adjuster installed in the end that is supposed to fit over the cable. Considering that there are only three parts it shouldn't have been hard to put it together correctly. I was able to disassemble it and assemble it correctly but I shouldn't have had to. Considering the afore mentioned it is over priced.

This is a horrible Product!I had the same issues and results as all of the other negative reviews.The Housing Material is too thin and not strong enough to hold the threaded adjusting nut or the staked cable end adapter in place.I purchased and tried this product twice. One from a local automotive parts store and one from Amazon.The product I purchased from a local automotive parts store was return for a full refund.The one I purchased from Amazon I kept after it failed as well.I ended up used the threaded adjusting nut from the new Dorman product with the original and 23 year old brake cable connector that came on the truck. Since I had to destroy the clamp on the old housing to remove the old threaded adjusting nut, a substituted hose clamp seems to be working just fine as a replacement clamp.PJD from MN
