Great replacement pan, excellent quality, the drain bolt is great addition to this pan. My pan began to rust around the rear bolt holes, replaced the pan when I was doing both transmission filters. Pan was installed with gasket silicone. Highly recommend

Pan was perfect. Most important is that it has a drain plug for easy service. Metal was just as thick as oem. Fit perfectly. Fit a 68rfe 4wd on a 2015 6.7 cummins.

It fits perfectly and the drain plug is a nice feature. Make sure you clean the drain plug thread as there was a few metal burrs on mine.

Had to change out my 2018 2500 6.4 Hemi RAM 66RFE 4WD trany filters and fluid. This pan was an EXACT sturdy replacement being just as good quality as the original. The drain plug makes so much sense. I used a quality rubber gasket from the Baldwin kit (instead of the OEM RTV) which was much better and cleaner. Make sure to torque all the bolts to proper INCH-pound specs WITH a torque wrench in an alternating and gradual pattern. I laid this pan on top of the gasket in the sun for a few hours to flatten the gasket out perfectly to fit the pan. Also bought 3 extra 6mm bolts that were longer than the stock bolts. This allowed me to “hang” the pan down enough to keep the gasket holes aligned, use both hands without having to hold the pan “up”, and assisted in getting all the original bolts started in their holes without a fight.This pan rocks. And no leaks. I did tighten the pan nut one extra “snug” after the trany warmed up. Dont over do it or youll crush the washer. Totally recommend this if you love your Mopar.

I used this to replace my stock transmission pan so I would have a drain plug for the next time I need to change fluid. It fit my 2015 ram 2500 4x4 with the 68 RFE transmission perfectly. Make sure to tighten the drain plug before refilling with new fluid. I thankfully caught mine leaking in time to avoid disaster.

Well made. Cleaned up the threads on drain plug (as you do with anything threaded, there’s always manufacturing debris/oil) and used ATF grade RTV on drain plug and pan lip. No leaks, no problems.

Perfect fit on my 2012 Ram1500 (Laramie trim, 5.7L, 4x4, 6 speed transmission). I initially used a FelPro gasket thinking it would be a lot less hassle, well it started leaking right away. I was able to use that “no mess drain” feature right away. Only a few ounces was left in the pan after draining. When I put the pan back on, this time I just went with RTV only for the gasket. I just used Permatex Ultra Black, made a 1/4 bead around the entire pan. It’s thick and gooey, perfect for installing the pan. Only hassle was getting it into place without getting the RTV on something it shouldn’t be on. Leaves a nice bead all the way around (see pic).GREAT INITIAL INSTALL TIP…. I used a hand pump (I already had on on hand) with the hose down the transmission fill funnel of my truck and I was able to get out 3 1/2 quarts of transmission fluid before I dropped the factory pan the first time. A little came out after breaking the factory pan’s seal, but no mess at all. Or punch or drill a hole in the old pan works as well. Oh… and I also used a big 2’ x 2’ transmission drain pan, it was less than $12 here on Amazon.
