Mounts to the pump shaft just as it should. Haynes recommends changing the pulley anytime you remove the power steering pump but the pulleys from the local parts stores cost the same as my new pump. I thought that was a little bit extreme for a simple pulley. This one is just as good as stock and cheaper than my local parts stores were asking for.
