UPDATED : It is now as quiet back there as new, almost new (287 K)Happy, no more bumping -thumping when I hit a bump or go over the tracks (: I kept wondering what the heck that was too....daa...Old ones (crappy and cracked) off, new one's on. Easy Peezy . Hope this takes care of the bumping thumping sound from the back there when I hit a bump. Keep your fingers crossed ! (:

This fits perfect for my 2001 Jeep Cherokee rear hatch the others from the factory dry rotted off and these fit right on with a little something to make it slippery to help it slide over the head of the adjustable stop. No more rattle from the hatch. I recommend these

Sometimes the most simple and low cost upgrade is the most surprising. The Dorman 45390 Tailgate Rubber Stop is an exact fit, zero issues and better than OEM. If your old rubber stops are worn out, this is a simple upgrade. Adjustment of the torx studs may need a slight adjustment and the Dorman Stop is easy to take off and re-install during the adjustment process.
