Worked well to replace the original switch which lit up the wrong 4wd light on the dash. Installation was easier by removing the center console between the seats. Don't try to replace from under the vehicle.

This thing worked like a charm. Be sure to read the little read data from the metallic reddish circle on your transfer case. That will let you know which part you will need. Also, when you go to install, the part is "spring loaded" per se, so be very careful or you could strip out your soft metal grooves on the transfer case.

Bought this to replace the 4x4 switch on the transfer case in my 2003 Dodge Ram with a Cummins. It looks just like the OEM and now my indicator light is working again!Side note: It sounds a little "crunchy" versus the OEM but, it's made in China so, no surprise there. We'll see if it lasts longer than a year...

Less than one star. Do not purchase. Does not work on selec-trac transfer case. Switch poorly manufactured, bad threads, switch probe too long, does not display correct transfer case mode. Puts out correct ohm resistance; however with probe too long switch thinks transfer case in a different setting from actual. Obtained replacement, same issue.
