Product works ok now installed it worked for a day turned it on in the rain linkage nut on motor came loose had to remove cowl wiper arms and repair on side of the road thanks

I purchased a Dorman 602-066AS Windshield Wiper Motor & Linkage Assembly Compatible with my 2014 GMC ACADIA JANUARY 28,2024 IT CAME JANUARY 30,2024 I got my macanhic to put the item on in February 1, 2024 now I'm confused because I was told they normally last for years before they even need to be replaced now it's only been 4 months and in June 23, 2024 it goes out now I need another one I tried to get a replacement but the replacement was up in February now I have to spend 172.21 I don't have because I never thought I would be back where I started so this sucks for me I hope know one else have to drive home in the rain like I did June 23,2024 trying not to freak out without causing an accident cause I can t see cause Windshield wiper motor went out even though it was brand new.

I had been fighting my old assembly for a year because the one screw kept backing off no matter what I did. Changing out the whole assembly was quite simple and I haven't had any issues with it even with heavy snow fall.

During first usage, one of the nuts holding the linkage to the motor fell off and the 4 'crmps' to keep the one linkage tube from rotating, didn't. Also the 4 bolts that attach the plate with the crimps were loose. No way to contact seller directly.Nut was found and put back on.
