As a ase certified tech I could say this is not acceptable. A faulty cap and hoses. I started to over heat and wounder why. The reservoir tank over flowing due to the faulty cap. Purchase a new one everything ok! If this was anyone else they would be worried! Not knowing the cap they provide doesnt work. As you would wounder why you keep getting a puddle of coolant under your vehicle and keep over heating after replacing a brand new part claimed to fit you vehicle. 2005 nissan pathfinder. I'm lucky enough to have the knowledge to know these thing and simply fixed the issue

There was leak on the hoses. The clips are not tight enough. I replaced the clips with a good one but then the hoses give up and got holes because it cannot handle the pressure. Overall, it's a bad buy. Please don't waste your money on this. I ended buying OEM and problem solved.

The supplies hoses in mine were the non reinforced ones. And after two weeks the small hose (picture) swelled, the supplied hose clams (silver) are also too weak. I had coolant leaking from the pictured area. Thankfully I kept the old factory hose which fits tighter and wouldn’t leak

Purchased to replace original rotting coolant reservior on 2nd gen Xterra. The bottle itself seems to be of a decent quality. The hoses are okay. Cap does not make proper seal.> Needed new coolant cap. The provided cap allowed for leaking when under pressure. It seems the neck is too long for the spring to provide enough pressure. Replaced with another cheap cap and still leaked. Then purchased a $20 locking style clamp which had a much longer spring and it is doing fine.> Be prepared to buy new hose and clamps to simpify install. In order to install without having to remove the fuse block, I cut the provided hoses off and ran new hose purchased from local auto store.I wish you could buy just the bottle for lower price taking you will need to probably remove the hoses for install. Be aware of the cap issue! After modification, the product is doing fine.

Best price I could find on this item. Removal of old unit and installation of new was a total pain. You will have to loosen or remove a lot of components to snake the hose under the fuse box. Otherwise perfect fit, looks exactly as oem original I removed, hoses all correct lengths and include clips and sheathing where needed. Bonus, this one includes a new pressure cap. Hope it holds up as I don't want want to have to redo this repair any time soon.
