A friend who’s a mechanic for many years recommended this fan for my 2008 CRV. I totally trust his expertise. Please note for that vehicle, this is the drivers side fan.

It fit perfectly and was very easy to install. Really good quality especially for the price! Works great and isn’t noisy at all!

It works excellent and it is much easier to install this one than remove original one that has slightly bigger fan motor. To replace this driver side fan, you will need to remove passenger side first to get enough space for removal of old one and installation of new one.

First of all, Honda uses some quality hardware. My radiator fan finally died after putting 150,000 miles on my CR-V. When I pulled out the non working fan, it saw it was a Denso fan. I tried looking for another Denso radiator fan but was unable to find one that I could get quickly. Local auto parts store carried this Dorman fan, but it cost more. So I got it on Amazon. This Dorman fan is such a breeze to install if you know what you're doing. The motor for the radiator fan is more flush with the assembly, so the motor doesn't stick out as far as the Denso fan did, making future removal much easier if necessary. I never did something like this on my own, but I saw a couple of YouTube videos and did it. Also, the Dorman radiator fan, the blades are white, not black like the product photo shows. I wish I took a photo of the brand new fan. The fan works great. My engine is even running slightly cooler now as well. That's saying something, as I live in Phoenix, AZ, and during the summer, our days get well over 100 F.You do NOT need to drain and remove the radiator on an 2007 Honda CRV to take the radiator fan out. On YouTube, search for "HONDA CRV Replace A/C Condensor Fan Radiator Cooling Fan Install Replacement 2008 2007 - 2011" (without the quotation marks of course) by a guy named THEGREENCABBY. His way of removing the fan is MUCH easier than a similar video put out by 1A Auto. 1A Auto way is draining and removing the radiator. That is unnecessary in this case if like me, your radiator is fine.

Excellent value and perfect fit. The Honda dealer wanted $420 to replace my fan and the part cost was over $200. Bought this on Amazon and saved myself $350!!!Honda is a great car, but they bleed you like a vampire when it comes to replacement parts. As soon as your warranty is expired it's time to shop aftermarket ;-)
