I bought these cooler lines to replace the leaking ones on my 2014 gmc sierra. Dorman's site says its a fit, but when my mechanic went to put them on, they are not even close to being a fit for a 2014, and when he scrambled to find new ones, another parts store tried to sell him the exact same ones. to get the correct ones, they were all on backorder. They will NOT fit the 2014's 5.3L's with the 6 speed transmissions like mine.

The bends are not right at the point where it connects to the transmission. You'd have to bend it quite a bit so that it'd be freely attached to that transmission connecting ports. At that, you'd risk breaking it, so I didn't. Now the bend by the radiator can be managed. I had to break down and get one from the dealership paying more than 2 times the price of this one even though the listing for this one said correct fit by the year make and model (2011 Chevrolet Suburban). I tried 2 different ones on Amazon and didn't work, which put me behind by 2-3 weeks, finally, the dealership one worked.

Originals started leaking at about 80k miles. It is a very common issue. Thought about doing a custom solution but decided to stay OEM...These things are a pain to install. You'll either need access to a lift or at the very least a tall floor jack and then keep the front up on jack stands. This barely gave me the clearance needed to rotate the lines as I fed them through the chassis.Upon start up, the new ones leaked worse than the originals. This could have been my fault. As you feed the lines the flex portions have to bend at uncomfortable angles and I may have over done it. It could have also been another bad factory crimp.I ended up going to Fittings Inc, getting two steel braided PTFE hoses with compression fittings and simply cut the factory flex portion out. The custom hoses cost me $70 and only took an hour to install. As opposed to wasting an entire Sunday fighting the lines, if yours are leaking at the flex crimp as mine were, just get a custom piece of hose made.
