Lug studs are larger than original. Ridiculous to have different size lugs on the vehicle. Haven't tried the splines yet so not sure if they are right. Oh, and yes, the axle information on the description says that it fits my vehicle. Go with OEM!

bolts and lug nuts are wrong size for 1998 ram 1500hub disk metal is very soft .might update if starts to deform .

Three years later still going well; fingers crossed. Went right into my 2002 (3rd Generation) Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.9 liter engine quad (4 door "crew") cab. Keep in mind the OEM axle seals are built recessed so you will have to recess these axle seals (not flush with the axle housing) about 1/10 inch so that you can get the axle c-clips installed inside the differential carrier.

This part was a perfect fit for my 2003 Dodge Ram. The price was actually cheaper with shipping than what I could buy from parts store. Delivered in two days, I installed it the same weekend. I used the manufacturer's part number to search for this part so I was certain it fit.
