I installed this on my 1975 F100 to replace my cracked OEM timing chain cover. Quality of the casting was comparable to that of the OEM part and all bolt holes lined up perfectly. Everything fit as it should without an modification. When installing my new dipstick tube I did have to sand the tube down slightly for it to fit, however I think this was due more to the chrome plating on the new dip stick than the timing chain cover. My OEM dipstick was starting to crack as well which is why the OEM tube was not used.

So the cover shows with a pointer cast in, It does not have the cast in pointer as shown.The bolts holes are cast different heights, had to buy (new bolts longer ) for 4 holes. Which changed how other items bolted onto the cover.Some of them need to be cleaned out to thread new bolts in as well.I wish I had known this in the beginning would made my life easier.Thats why 3 stars

Looks study, brand new and no sharp edges on it anywhere.Comes as a package with housing, gasket and seal but the gasket is the wrong one. Other than that looks damn good!

Bought this at the beginning of the year and did not get around to working on the truck until about 3-4 weeks ago. Too late to return it. Struggled with trying to get it to fit for 2 weeks. Cleaned up gasket and replaced 3 different times. Today, tried to fit it with bolts without gasket and it is not happening. Just going to get another. bolt pattern is off for a 1983 f150 302.

This cover worked just as good as a ford part I used this on a 93 5.0 roller motor I built for my 52 ford pickup worth the money. Has a spot for the dip stick and if you don’t need it comes with a block off plug witch I actually used in the block to seal off that dip stick hole all gaskets seal included will buy again as I built a lot of 5.0 and 5.8 ford motors
