This cover fit perfect on my 2001 Ford Ranger 2.3L Duratec engine. The description said not match but I cross reference with the Dorman part and was saying is the right part number. So I order and arrived very quickly and fit perfect.To install the water pump damper back on it I used the power steering damper installation kit.

Shipped fast, came packaged OK but could have been better. The parts looks like a original equipped Ford part.I was able to use a Heat gun and a puller setup to remove the bearing assembly with shaft with no damage to bearing, then I froze it and installed it into my old cover still mounted on the engine using a air hammer , socket and adapter..I am sure transplanting the bearing voids any warranty but who cares when you no longer have to remove the timing cover to change this bearing for the fan clutch drive pulley.I wish they would just sell the bearing .
