I needed a new one as mine has become a victimof a blown timing chain Aka permanent crankcase venting,, (Hole) I got this one and it came with a gasket and crank seal..I did have to tap the extra hole for the fill plug with a 1/2 by 20 tap. (I had several)I cleaned the entire cover with brake parts cleaner, installed RTV grey and gasket and its a done deal.I highly recommend cleaning the surfaces of the engine block (mating)and chase out all the holes with a tap and flushing with brake parts cleaner.. I also recommend new water pump bolts,,I recommend this cover for anyone needing a timing cover and do not want to dig for a used one in a parts boneyard.

Timing cover had a hole that needed plugged..1/2 inch set screw with 20 treads to the inch and sealer works good... good casting

Aftermarket comes with holes that are not needed . So prepare to use pit plugs .

Initial impression is that the quality is very good. However, there's one threaded hole that my truck doesn't need, I have no idea what it is for, so didn't have anything from my old timing cover to plug it. Off on a wild goose chase to find something to plug it. Dorman said it was M12-1.5 (no, it isn't). I measured it as 1/2-18, but you can't find that around town. I tried a 1/2-20 oil pan plug (nope). I ended up buying a 9/16 drill bit, a 3/8 NPT pipe tap, and a brass 3/8 pipe plug. Luckily, that worked perfectly. It worked perfectly after I modded it. UPDATE: Been a couple of years and it is still perfect.

It fit correctly. All the bolts lined up and the cover seems to be leak free, I will update only if I have an issue. It's made in China, but is decent quality. It's not oem quality, but it'll do the job
