The price was more than half of what the muffler shop wanted $77 compared to $196.00.Install was as easy .Looks better than the factory version.

First the O2 sensor hole is not the correct size. Had to drill and rethread to correct size. Second the manifold flange where studs go through were too tall and did not allow it to sit flush to head so it did not seal. I had to cut of 1/16" from the top edge of each flange. After that it sealed well and works good. Come on Dorman check you product quality.

Working as expected for now. Original cracked after12 years which is expected from HHR's from what I have read on many forums. If this lasts half that long I will be super happy. I usually don't write reviews for products until they have lasted a while, as longevity is what we all like in car parts, however this is cast iron, if it is going to Crack it will either be from shock cooling when hot or just time from vibration. This product seems same thickness as OEM so it should be fine. Great so far. It has been installed for a few months now.
