I received the manifold today, it looks ok - but the gasket is missing. The plastic bag had been opened. I suspect I got one that had been returned. I sent for a replacement and will return this one if the replacement arrives with a gasket.6/3 update: Well a week later a replacement arrived with a gasket. I double checked the flatness of the replacement; as far as I could determine it was 100% flat. Installation went well until I got to the connection to the catalytic converter.The Dorman manifold is tapped to accept a bolt; this is good and makes assembly easy, except the bolts provided were much too long and the joint could not be pulled together using them. I temporarily fixed this by using a stack of about ten washers. Not pretty but it works.I will visit the local hardware store and see if I can find a shorter replacement. I should have tried the joint before bolting the manifold to the head; I could have gotten shorter bolts then. If you use this manifold be sure you check the bolt length and get correctly sized ones!I've used several Dorman products; they are usually well-designed parts that assemble correctly. The issues I ran into with the exhaust manifold surprise me. Maybe someone at Dorman should go look at a Dodge pickup with a 5.7 hemi?Two stars: Good quality manifold, someone had their head up their a$$ when assembling the kit.

I had two broken bolts on my existing exhaust manifold, producing an exhaust leak that caused not only the exhaust "tick" sound, but continued to foul out my O2 sensors. This sent signals to the computer to run a richer fuel mixture because the leak was causing it to run too lean. Running too rich, there was incomplete combustion and my truck was spewing out black smoke and soot from the tailpipe, and was getting TERRIBLE gas mileage. The installation on this truck is extremely easy. With just a few tools, an amateur mechanic can do the job. I did the whole job in about 2 hours, the next time I could probably do it in half the time. This Dorman manifold was an exact fit and solved my problem 100%. The only thing the kit did not come with was replacement bolts. The Dorman part number for the replacement bolts (which you will need!) on the DRIVER SIDE, THIS MANIFOLD, is 03211CD, while the PASSENGER side bolts part number is 03211. Both are available at AutoZone or on Amazon.

Fit great on 05 ram with hemi.. gasket seems good quality. Old 1 was warped so glad I ordered it.. fixed the obnoxious exhaust popping sound. Also less expensive than parts stores for the same part.

Fits fine. NOTE you may need to use a big drill bit to bore away the threads on the exhaust pipe connection. If you're doing this diy it should be pretty easy to figure out. Otherwise the product seemed fine. I didn't notice any cracks or holes complained of in other reviews

It was going great until I had to bolt the exhaust up to it. The provided bolts are shoulder bolts with nuts. The flange on the manifold it TAPPED (the passenger side is just drilled). So, if you try to use the shoulder bolt, it bottoms out way too soon. I had to find 2 larger nuts (as spacers) to put on so the bolt wouldn't bottom out. If I would have caught this before I put the manifold on, I would have drilled them out myself.

installed on my 2007 Ram 1500 5.7 came with gasket and y pipe bolts. Hopefully that HEMI "Tick" is gone for awhile.
