Although this unit fits perfectly in tank, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING. The unit does not send the correct remaining amount of fuel back to dash gauge. I have a 25gal tank and on empty, I can put no more than 20gals of fuel in tank, after which the gauge shows full again. That's a problem because that means the unit is unable to read 5 gallons of fueI from a 25gal fuel tank, 1995 GMC Sierra. That means the unit does not seat all the way to the bottom of tank to give correct reading. In addition, I am only able to go 200 miles in between fill ups. My original replaced unit I was able to go close to 300 miles between fill ups. In short, I HAVE TO REPLACE THIS UNIT and I'm going with a genuine OEM. Don't make the mistake I made. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

Fit perfectly in my '88 Chevy K2500. The stock float/arm fell off (after using the truck to rip stumps out of the ground). This one is re-designed and is held in place much better than the stock design.

chevy k2500 1992 pickup truck 35 gal tank. it's accurate, it seals well but it seems alot lighter than the original sending unit. overall satisfied. it was cost prohibited to buy locally i saved about $40 .customer service was fine

opened box and noticed float retaining tab broke off and laying on bottom of box. tried fixing it with wire,seems to work OK. vendor offered refund or new one but didnt want to wait any longer to get truck put back together.
