Dorman 696-067 for Nissan Frontier / Xterra 2000-04Something must have changed with the Dorman mold dimensions. The opening on the throttle body side is much too large, I even tried to make a adapter collar (its the yellow thing in the bottom right) but that kept slipping off too. No amount of clamp force will secure it to the throttle body flange. Dorman on the LEFT different brand on the RIGHT, Dorman is thinner material and that makes for a much larger opening. I also went to 2 AA stores local to me and same problem with the Dorman units they had in stock.

...The clamps that came with this are wrong. The two large ones are threaded so that they'd have to be screwed in from the bottom, which is impossible. To fix this I just used the old clamps that are threaded to be screwed in from above. Otherwise this was a solid product.

Sturdy construction. Added clamps are strong & worth extra price. Though not an exact, precise fit, was close enough to control air flow accurately.
