There’s an engineering issue on these lug nuts using the provided socket. When tightening, the socket is hard to come off meaning the fit is not perfect & very annoying fighting the socket each time I remove it. I would like to keep but this will drive me in sane. It’s almost like the bolt is metric and the socket tool is SAE. Too much of a play.

Item was not new. When I opened package it was taped up with packaging tape. It had already been opened and one of the nuts had been installed as the paint on the cone was worn and the nut had the so key marks on it. Didn't look damaged otherwise. Installed on 2017 ford edge. Cone doesn't have same surface area as oem nut but still has same taper and still seated proper in wheel. Looks better that the oem chrome nuts. Dorman is decent aftermarket product for reasonable cost.

These locking lug nuts did not fit my 2023 Jeep Gladiator even though it showed as “will fit your vehicle”. After having them professionally installed, they were apparently too long and made a bad noise while driving. They were removed immediately as to not cause damage and my old ones were put back on. I ordered the correct ones from the Jeep dealership and they work perfectly.
