Fit perfect in my 2002 BMW 745i. Was a little tricky changing this out, but it worked fine,

Worked fine. Not as fast as the original, motor is a lot smaller than the original.

1987 F-150; As others have stated, the power window motor worked opposite to the switch (up was down, down was up). Not sure if this is because Ford reversed the wiring or if the new Dorman unit was wired backwards to fit other applications. I suggest plugging the unit in and trying it out before installing. There is a quick fix. All you need to do is reverse the terminals in the connector on the new regulator. I attached a few photo's to illustrate... The plastic connector has a small tab that holds/secures the metal terminal in the plastic connector. If you pull the tab back and hold it there (insert small screwdriver) the square terminal will pull out (note I used the yellow screwdriver to push it out, you can also just pull it by the wires on the opposite side). Once the terminal is pulled out enough out of the connector you can release the tab. The small tab is flexible and is designed to hold the terminal in place. Once you get the terminals out, reverse them and slide them back into the connector, the plastic tab will catch a slot that is in the terminal re-lock it back in place. No tools are required when re-inserting the terminals. No need to cut any wires and this should only take a few minutes. I hope this helps.

Wired backwards. Up is down and down is up. And I had to cut the wire connected to the window regulator so now instead of the wire being red and red it's now red and black and the other one is black and red. I just unplugged it, reversed the wires and plugged it back in. Don't cut your Ford wiring only cut the new Doorman backwards wiring. The problem was actually easy to fix. I already put it back together and wasn't going to take it out and order a new backwards wired Doorman part. I used to think this was a good company but now I wonder. I'm not the first one. Read the reviews.

Easy to install, however the wiring attachment was reversed, so up is down and down is up. Should be easy to correct, in the meanwhile my window opens and closes as new which is what I needed.

I bought this after the passenger side window in my 1995 F150 started slipping when going up, eventually not going up at all. This was sold as a drop-in replacement, and I can attest, it is. A good friend of mine, who is an automotive lock smith, helped me with it. He is accustomed to removing panels and other trim on cars. I am glad, it would have been an all day project for me. We were completely done in about an hour.It was a perfect fit, all the holes lined up perfectly. It works as well or better than the original.I need to point out, this thing is attached with rivets. You have to drill out the rivets to remove the old unit, then secure the new unit with new rivets. He has a rivet gun, so that was not a problem. That would have stopped me cold, or I would have used nuts and bolts, but there is little clearance for that. I don't think a rivet gun is something every DIYer has lying around. It is as fast or faster than the original, sounds a little different, more sturdy, probably better gears than the original plastic gears that fail. I will buy one for the driver's side now, so I'm ready when it goes out on this 25 year old truck.

i purchases hoping to fix my electric windows on my old ford truck. After receiving, i watched some youtube videos on how to install this and let me tell you it is one serious NIGHTMARE! in short, these things were not really meant to be replaced!! anyway, along the way i found that the root of the problem with the OEM is that the little nylon bearings in the door gearing end up shattering with age. What is really needed is to replace these nylon bearings. However, getting said bearings are just as big of a nightmare, but some ingenious youtubers give creative ways in which you can fix these without the OEM bearings. brilliant!! So, i took my arm gearing part and sure enough, the nylon bearings were shredded. i implemented one of the creative solutions from a few old nuts in the shed and viola!! it works like a charm. window works fine adn i didn't have to completely tear apart my door to fix it. highly recommend to check youtube before 1) attempting to replace this arm, 2) buying this arm as it is likely just the nylon bearings. IF, however, you do need the entire arm, expect it to be a VERY difficult job. This arm was sturdy and would have done the job, but it was unneeded.

At half the price of the local auto parts store it works great. Removing and replacement took an hour. Reinstalling the plastic water barrier required straightening out the original and gluing it back in place. I used 3M 08051 Feathering Disc Adhesive which worked perfectly. Replacement required drilling out the rivets and if you can borrow the jumbo riveter it is easy. Buying the special size riveter is silly if you only need it once every 10 years. Buy the fastener package and use the nuts and bolts. New plastic pushpins for the door panel are a great idea. They don't cost much and replacing now is easier than later if a pin is not grabbing like it should.Great value and it works great.

I bought this to replace the power window motor and regulator in my 1990 Bronco. I've bought Dorman motor/regulators before and this one was no exception to the quality I've come to expect from them. Installation was simple enough (once I drilled out the rivets holding the old one in... that is how they were installed by Ford) and the new one matched up perfectly and I bolted it right in. Note that this does not include the mounting hardware i.e. nuts and bolts. That can be purchased at any hardware store or automotive parts store. Make sure to use flat washers and lock washers. My power windows now work perfectly.
