The worst part about this product was the initial installation. The rubber (plastic?) buffers at the bottom of the clips come up just high enough that it can be a pain to get the clips to actually latch when first putting it in. It took a lot of smacking and pushing to get the top clip to latch but once it was in it was incredibly sturdy. I've had it installed for months now and after driving around especially on bumpy or rough roads there has been absolutely no vibration noise or jittering coming from the part

Really a time-saver. I was getting ready to get an old part from the local scrap yard for cheap. I was really surprised that Dorman makes this perfect replacement for my 2010 Ford Focus SES. The part finish and fit is identical to the original one. Make sure to clean both openings in the door frame. Original metal clips with pieces of plastic were still embedded there. Removal and transfer of original switch was super easy.* Make sure to press in as hard as possible the new part in. The replacement rubber grommet looks thicker by an hair. Once pressed-in, these rubber grommets will deform just enough to insure a tight fit in place * DONT TRIM THESE GROMMETS.
