I don't very often write reviews, but I noticed that this switch lacked ratings when I bought it.My 2021 Nissan Frontier with 80k+ miles started having problems starting because it wasn't always detecting when I pressed down on the brake pedal before hitting the start button. The problem was because the button was sticking inside of the brake pedal switch - especially in very cold weather. I did some research on this and found one comment that the replacement OEM Nissan switch costed well over $100. I looked on Amazon and found a few very low cost replacement switches, but no reviewers were able to state how long the switch lasted for obvious reasons. I do not want to have to replace the switch every year or three, so I opted for this more expensive one in the hopes it will last longer than 4 years. Obviously I cannot promise that it will do so, but the odds are in my favor. The switch appears to be high quality, and the plunger slides in and out smoothly.
