2001 Ford ranger mirrors on the driver side and passenger side would only go one way or the other not in all directions. Replaced this switch and all is good. Take your time taking out the old one and look how the plug comes off there's only a stop on one side..TAKE YOU TIME..If you are mirrors don't work in any direction check your fuse first if they work in only a few positions left and right side 99% of the time it's this switch. Great price great product worth a shot, I'm happy.

Wanted to pass along that this switch does work for a Mazda B3000. It is not on the compatible list, but looks, fits, and works like new on my 2001 Mazda.

Ordered this switch for a 2001 Mazda B4000 but this is for a 2001 Ford Ranger. Your compatibility list said it is not fit for my application. I did check both schematics and I decided to go for it. Fortunately, it is worked out right.I am happy with my purchase.

I got this for a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis GS. The price is excellent (compared to OEM / dealer), and it works great on installation. I did my homework, and watched a few vids on the web. Getting the access panel off was not all that easy, but I managed to do it without breaking anything. Once the panel was off I used a small screwdriver to help the old one out. This new one fit in perfectly and connected to the harness plug on the first try, no trouble at all. a really easy fix.... I noticed both mirrors were failing in the same fashion, so I assumed it was the switch. A gearhead friend alerted me there may be relays involved, but the web helped me rule that out.... I think the operation may be a bit more jerky now than with the original switch, but the OEM switch failed not long after I bought the car (last month, at 50K, it was a "creampuff" deal), so I cannot say for sure about that. Both mirrors work well enough now... so I am happy again.
